Beach, water, pier leading to a charming island - this is the recreation area at the pond in Januszowice.
Now lovers of spending free time by the water during the summer season can relax in our commune.
The zone is primarily a beach, walking areas, a place for barbecues and children's games, all within a picturesque pond with an area of about 17 ha.
The pond has an approx. 2 km of shoreline, a beach has been opened on the side of national road No. 7, along with recreational infrastructure for a length of approx. 150 m, and a comfortable walking promenade has been built there. There is a picturesque island in the middle of the pond, to which a pier has been built. On the island, an observation point was created for local birds, which have nesting boxes there, there is a resting arbour, benches, walkways and tables for playing chess.
Thought has also been given to the youngest, a colourful children's playground has been created next to the beach. There is also a barbecue area and benches. There is also a large car park for car commuters. There are also bicycle stands, as the bathing beach can be reached via the cycle path along Okrzei-ul. Kolejowa Street, which we warmly encourage you to use!
