The palace was designed and constructed between 1585 and 1595 by the renowned architect Santi Gucci, commissioned by Kraków Bishop Piotr Myszkowski. In the 18th century, the castle passed into the hands of the Wielopolski family and was remodeled in the Baroque style, acquiring a new and elegant character.
Today, this historic building houses the Wincenty Witos School Complex and the Agricultural School Complex. Despite its educational role, the palace retains its unique charm and is an excellent destination for lovers of history, architecture, and art.
